   Assured grounding is the quarterly safety check
required by OSHA, to test construction site electrical
tools and extension cords to assure their proper
grounding, polarity and resistance.

We have always felt that changing colored tape on
cords every quarter was inefficient because of the time it
consumes. We developed a device that eliminates the
tape removal, ordering and reapplication process.  It’s
called the EZ-MARKER.

EZ-MARKER is a long-term, assured grounding marking
device.  EZ-MARKER is securely attached to a tool's
electrical cord or an extension cord, at either end.  After
the required safety checks are completed, just push the
color slide to expose the proper color in the viewing
windows.      That’s it!  You’re done for the quarter.

EZ-MARKER is in the prototype stage and is scheduled
to be in production before December 2008.  The first
model will fit 1/4” to 1/2” cords, with plans for a second
model that will fit 5/8”-7/8” cords.
